@Meg: Yeah, I'm usually happy with lukewarm or warm water. But don't take too much ginseng. It's apparently can 'overheat' your body. I think. Or is it the other way around? lol

@jaded: The chai with rice milk is okay but not fantastic. But again, I think I prefer rice milk to soy milk now...

Ooh I tell you what IS good for the mornings, instead of Coffee! Ginsen, it doesn't taste very nice but is bearable, and it is only a little bit to swallow, it's healthy and great for the mind and to give you energy! Personally I'm still a big coffee drinker, but I do like herbal tea too, Cherry and fruit teas. Also, hot water is good to drink, I know it sounds silly but it is healthy and comforting.

Yeah, me too. But I also add a variety of herbal teas including dandelion, lemongrass, chamomile & peppermint. I love them. Chai's my morning favourite now :D

Its been more than a month since I banned coffee during weekdays - only indulging during weekends. I used to get through a large mug of starbucks before lunch. Green tea now acts as a healthier replacement - I can drink green tea all day long.....

Slightly sweet and taste quite light, a bit like the skimmed dairy milk. And void of that soy smell that I find thick and overwhelming.

Apparently, rice milk substitutes well for all other milks. I've used soy milk in coffee & chai before. Again, it overwhelms the taste of my drink and I don't like that. Having said that, I've yet to try the rice milk with my morning chai. Will let you know tomorrow :-)
